Meopta is an international company with a long, rich tradition of developing, manufacturing, and assembling world-class optical, opto-mechanical, and optoelectronic products. Based in Prerov, Czech Republic, Meopta's state-of-the-art facilities house its R&D, engineering, coating design, manufacturing, assembly, and administrative offices. Meopta's R&D center supports engineering in optics, precise mechanics, electrical, and industrial designs, developing and analyzing technical parameters and producing functional prototypes. Its optical division, the largest in Meopta, employs over 800 optical workers and engineers for the production of optical elements, cementing, optical contacting, and vacuum coating. The mechanical production division features advanced high-precision equipment operated by over 500 skilled workers for machining, surface finishing, and heat treatment. Meopta is equipped with advanced assembly lines and specialized clean rooms, ensuring meticulous assembly of opto-mechanical and opto-electronic systems.
