Rykneld Tean Ltd is a leading UK-based manufacturer of narrow fabrics, webbing, and tape, with a rich history dating back to 1747. Originating from the Philips brothers' linen-thread storage and cottage weaving industry, the company evolved into a major narrow textile manufacturer, establishing a steam-powered mill in 1823 and later expanding through acquisitions. Operating from a state-of-the-art 5,500m² factory in the Midlands, Rykneld Tean is one of the largest UK producers, specializing in high-quality webbing and tape products using both advanced needle loom and conventional shuttle loom technologies. The company boasts extensive in-house capabilities for narrow fabric weaving, dyeing, finishing, and printing, serving diverse sectors including MOD, Aerospace, PPE, Leisure, Medical, and general Industrial applications globally.
