SWS

SWS, or Saline Water Specialists, is an international leader in the design and construction of seawater desalination and industrial water treatment plants. Established in 1996 as an independent company, SWS leverages extensive technical knowledge to design bespoke systems for primary water treatment and ultrapure water production for industrial processes. The company has delivered successful projects for the energy, refining, and petrochemical industries globally, with its evaporative desalination expertise highly valued for producing distillate with extremely high purity (less than 1 ppm total residual salinity) and ensuring over 99% availability. SWS also specializes in designing and supplying degasifiers of up to 2000 T/h capacity for steam generator feed water, capable of operating under diverse conditions including vacuum. Furthermore, SWS provides condensate polishing plants for thermal power plants and refineries, utilizing ion exchange resins with both internal and external regeneration, which have been exported to over 15 countries. Since 2005, SWS has operated as an operational division of the Sofinter Group, benefiting from Sofinter's commercial, financial, technical, and after-sales support structures while adhering to international calculation codes, construction standards, testing procedures, and quality controls required by the energy, petrochemical, and refining sectors.
