The Omron E2FM-X1R5B1 2M Proximity Sensor is designed for reliable performance in demanding industrial environments. Featuring an all-stainless housing, this sensor is highly resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage, ensuring long-term durability. The sensor is shielded and has a compact M8 cylindrical design with a screw, making it easy to install in tight spaces.

This DC 3-wire model offers a sensing distance of 1.5 mm ±10% and operates in a normally open (NO) mode. It is equipped with a PNP open collector output, capable of handling up to 200 mA. The pre-wired 2-meter cable simplifies installation and connectivity.

The E2FM-X1R5B1 is engineered to withstand harsh conditions, with an operating temperature range of -25 to 70°C and an IP67 protection rating. It includes several protective circuits, such as output short-cut protection, output reverse polarity protection, power supply reverse polarity protection, and a surge suppressor, ensuring reliable operation in various industrial applications.

This sensor is ideal for detecting ferrous metals and is less sensitive to non-ferrous metals. It features a high response frequency of 200 Hz, making it suitable for fast-moving applications. The built-in yellow operation indicator provides a clear visual signal when the sensor is active.
