The DoorScan Interface Set is designed for integration within the DoorScan® and TopScan sensor profiles, acting as both a replacement and an extension module. It operates in a background evaluation mode, ensuring continuous monitoring and functionality.

This module meets safety integrity requirements with a Safety Integrity Level (SIL) of 2, Performance Level (PL) d, and Category 2 compliance, providing a Mean Time to Dangerous Failure (MTTFd) of 2716 years and a Mission Time (TM) of 20 years. Its diagnostic coverage stands at 90%, enabling reliable performance.

For user interaction, the module includes multiple LED indicators: a red LED indicates detection and fault codes, a yellow LED shows teach status, and a green LED represents blank and DIP switch statuses.

Electrical specifications highlight an operating voltage of 24 V DC ± 20% with a no-load supply current of 30 mA. The test input functions at high active levels between 15 V DC and 30 V DC, and low active below 2 V DC. Control input operates in standby mode at 11 V DC to 30 V DC.

The output switching type supports hinge edge light on and leading edge light on/dark on configurations, with a signal output that is NPN and short-circuit protected. The module can handle switching voltages up to 30 V DC and currents up to 100 mA, with a response time of ≤ 52 ms, extending to ≤ 200 ms in boost operating mode.
