The Thalassa PLA version offers a versatile solution for a variety of applications. Designed with a sealed top and an open bottom, it facilitates easy access and installation. The enclosure measures 1500mm in height, 750mm in width, and 320mm in depth, and is constructed from polyester reinforced with fiberglass, ensuring durability and suitability for harsh environments.
With a grey finish (RAL 7035), it includes two side parts, a removable plain front door, a rear panel, and a plinth. The door opens up to 120° and features a four-point locking mechanism with a handle equipped with a 5mm double-bar insert, enhancing security and accessibility for maintenance. The door and rear panel can be detached for effortless equipment servicing.
The enclosure provides a high level of protection against various hazards, including fire, impact, dust, and moisture, with a fire resistance rating of 960°C compliant with the IEC 62208 standard. It also carries an IK10 rating under IEC 62262 for high impact resistance and an IP54 rating per IEC 60529, offering substantial safeguards against dust and water ingress. Class II electrical insulation is integrated to prevent electric shocks and facilitate entirely insulated setups.
Further, it has been UL certified and can be stored in ambient temperatures ranging from -35°C to 90°C without any degradation in performance.
