The PlexPower Series factory sealed panelboards are engineered to employ circuit breaker modules that deliver explosionproof protection for standard off-the-shelf breakers. This design negates the requirement for a heavy cast enclosure, resulting in a lighter and more compact panelboard enclosure that simplifies installation.

Field modifications such as replacing, upgrading, or adding breakers can be performed without the need for removing bolted covers, sealing, or rewiring, thereby maintaining flamepath integrity. This panelboard serves as an effective solution for safeguarding lighting, power, and heat trace circuits in environments that are wet, weather-exposed, corrosive, or hazardous.

With a voltage range for lighting panels from 120 to 240 V and power panels from 480 to 600 V, the panelboards feature a construction of 316L stainless steel with stainless steel hardware and a hard drawn, tin plated copper bus bar. Additional options such as drain/breather, GFI breakers, external actuation, grounded neutral, gland plate, and heaters for condensation are available, catering to various operational needs. The product complies with NEC and CEC standards, classified as Class I, Zone 1, AEx de IIB+H, ensuring reliability in critical applications.
