The IO-Link Master CL EIP 8P IP20 serves as a critical interface, effectively separating automation networks from IT networks. This device supports the connection of up to eight IO-Link devices, ensuring seamless and reliable transmission of machine data, process parameters, and diagnostic information to the controller.
Designed for DIN rail mounting, the compact housing occupies minimal space within control panels. The device operates with a voltage range of 20 to 30 V DC, with a current consumption between 300 and 3900 mA, thus adhering to protection class III standards. It features a total of 16 configurable inputs and outputs, comprising eight digital inputs and eight digital outputs, both of which are classified as IO-Link Port Class A. The inputs are capable of handling switching levels from 0 to 30 V, ensuring protection against short circuits.
Communication is facilitated through Ethernet and IO-Link interfaces, adhering to transmission standards of 10Base-T and 100Base-TX, with transmission rates up to 100 MBit/s. The device utilizes MQTT JSON protocol for data communication and supports factory settings for IP addressing and network configuration. Operating conditions are robust, with ambient temperatures ranging from -25 to 65 °C and storage conditions from -25 to 85 °C, alongside a maximum relative humidity of 90% and an IP 20 protection rating.
