The Stem Mount Thermal Photocontrol operates at 120 V and is suitable for installation on standard outdoor light fixtures and electrical boxes featuring either a 1/2"-14 NPSM thread or 7/8" knock-out holes. It enables automatic control of outdoor lighting based on ambient light levels, activating when light falls between 1 to 5 foot-candles and deactivating at 3 to 15 foot-candles.

This unit is constructed with a polycarbonate housing and has dimensions of 3 inches in height, 1 9/16 inches in width, and 1 9/16 inches in depth. It features a wire lead length of 9 inches and is compatible with various lighting types, including HID, fluorescent, and incandescent. The expected operational lifetime is approximately 5 years, with a fail mode that defaults to ON.

With a sensor time delay ranging from 30 to 90 seconds, this photocontrol is ideal for applications such as parking lot lighting, landscape lighting, and street lighting. It is certified by UL and cCSAus, and adheres to Title 20 standards, ensuring compliance with safety and performance regulations.
