Keyence LR-W500

The Keyence LR-W500 Cable Type Sensor is a highly versatile, self-contained full-spectrum sensor designed for a wide range of industrial applications. Featuring an adjustable spot diameter and a detecting distance of 30 to 500 mm, this sensor ensures precise detection and measurement in various environments. The white LED light source provides reliable performance, while the mutual interference reduction function allows up to two units to operate simultaneously with alternate frequencies.

With selectable response times ranging from 200 µs to 500 ms, the LR-W500 can be tailored to meet specific application requirements. The sensor offers both NPN and PNP open collector control outputs, ensuring compatibility with different control systems. Additionally, the LR-W500 includes comprehensive protection circuits against reverse power connection, power supply surges, output overcurrent, output surges, and reverse output connection.

Designed to withstand harsh industrial environments, the LR-W500 boasts an IP65/IP67 enclosure rating, making it resistant to dust and water ingress. The sensor operates effectively in ambient temperatures ranging from -20 to +50 °C and can endure vibrations and shocks, ensuring long-term reliability. The robust construction includes a zinc die-cast case with nickel chrome plating, a PPSU indicator cover, and a scratch-resistant PMMA lens cover and display.
