The Keyence PZ-G61P is a high-performance square retro-reflective sensor designed for a wide range of industrial applications. Featuring a built-in amplifier and PNP output, this sensor ensures accurate and reliable detection. The sensor operates with a red LED light source and offers a detecting distance of 0.1 to 4.2 meters when used with the R-2L reflector. Its 1-turn trimmer allows for easy sensitivity adjustment, while the switch-selectable LIGHT-ON/DARK-ON operation mode provides flexibility in various environments.
With a fast response time of 500 µs and robust protection circuits including reversed polarity, overcurrent protection, and surge absorber, the PZ-G61P is built to withstand demanding conditions. The sensor's enclosure is rated IP67, NEMA 4A, 6, 12, and DIN IP69K, ensuring high resistance to dust and water. Additionally, it can operate in ambient light conditions up to 20,000 lux and temperatures ranging from -20 to +55 °C.
The PZ-G61P is constructed with durable materials such as glass-fibre reinforced PBT for the housing and acrylic (PMMA) for the lens cover. The sensor also features interference suppression for up to 2 units with an automatic different frequency function, making it ideal for complex setups. This versatile sensor is suitable for various applications, including packaging, assembly lines, and material handling systems.
