The UltraMOV 25S Varistor Series is engineered for demanding environments where high peak surge current ratings and significant energy absorption are essential. This series is particularly suitable for AC Line Voltage applications, providing voltage clamping to manage high transient surge currents effectively. The devices feature a compact 25mm square form factor, housed in a radial lead package with straight leads for straightforward installation.

Constructed with a recognized epoxy encapsulation, the UltraMOV varistors maintain performance across ambient temperatures reaching up to 85°C without derating. Specifically, the V25S115P variant supports a maximum AC voltage of 115V and accommodates a maximum rated DC voltage of 150V. It delivers surge energy absorption of 230J and can withstand a peak pulse current of 22,000A.

With a clamp voltage of 295V and bi-directional clamp polarity, this series ensures effective protection against voltage spikes. The typical capacitance is rated at 4500pF, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. The 25S Series is LASER-branded and comes in bulk packaging for convenience.
