The Altivar Process ATV900 variable speed drive is engineered for controlling 3-phase motors in industrial applications. It supports a wide rated supply voltage range of 380 to 480 Vac and is capable of handling continuous output currents of 173 A for normal duty operations and 145 A for heavy duty tasks.
Integrated communication protocols such as Modbus TCP and EtherNet/IP facilitate seamless integration into automation systems, while the device supports various option modules for enhanced connectivity. Notably, the ATV950D90N4E variant includes a braking chopper, making it suitable for applications requiring precise control over motor dynamics.
Designed for harsh environments, this drive has an IP55 protection rating and operates effectively in ambient conditions ranging from -15°C to 50°C. Its built-in safety features include Safe Torque Off (STO) and Safe Stop 1 (SS1), ensuring high operational reliability.
