The PowerPacT B-Frame circuit breaker is engineered for thermal-mechanical protection in a compact form factor. This specific model features a rated current of 45A and offers a breaking capacity of 14kA at a voltage of 600Y/347VAC. Additionally, it includes EverLink lugs on both termination ends, which help to minimize cable loosening over time.
The device is equipped with dual-break rotating contacts, which effectively reduce peak current during short circuit events. Its construction allows for flexible installation options, supporting traditional back pan mounting with screws or clip-on mounting on a 35 mm symmetrical DIN rail. The circuit breaker also incorporates a control wire terminal at the line end for added functionality.
Compliance with various standards, including UL, CSA, NOM, and IEC, is assured, as is CE marking. The product offers significant operational reliability with a continuous current rating of 80% and is rated for use in environments with ambient temperatures ranging from -25 to 70 °C.
