This processor module is integral to the Modicon Premium automation platform, identified by the designation code TSXP572623M. It accommodates a maximum of 16 racks and supports 1024 discrete I/O, making it suitable for complex automation tasks. The front panel features two display blocks with a total of 10 LEDs for operational status and Ethernet connectivity.
Connectivity options include two 8-way female mini-DIN connectors for terminals and devices, as well as an RJ45 connector for Ethernet networking. Additionally, it is equipped with two PCMCIA slots, allowing for memory expansion or communication card integration.
For processing capabilities, the module features an internal RAM of 48 Kwords for both program and data storage without a PCMCIA card, expandable to 160 Kwords with one. The execution time per instruction varies, with a Boolean execution time of 0.19 µs without a PCMCIA card, and up to 2.6 µs for floating points with a card. The unit also supports a structured application framework including one master task and multiple event tasks.
The processor operates effectively within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 60 °C and has an IP20 protection rating. It complies with various international standards, including IEC 61131-2 and UL 508, confirming its reliability in industrial environments.
