The Type III loose piece socket contacts accommodate wire sizes ranging from 18 to 16 AWG, with an insulation diameter of 2.03 to 2.54 mm. These contacts are precision formed to ensure a high normal force, resulting in low resistance for improved conductivity. The closed-ended mating entry minimizes the risk of damage from misalignment during connection.

Constructed from brass, the contact features a gold plating on the mating area, with a tin over nickel finish on the termination area, enhancing durability and performance. Designed for signal circuit applications, these contacts are compatible with CPC, G Series, and M Series connectors. The product is packaged in cartons, with a quantity of 1000 loose pieces per carton.

Additionally, the contact type is socket, with a plating thickness of 30 µin on the mating area. For optimal performance, these contacts are intended for crimp termination, ensuring reliable connections.
