The AEPGI Series ground indicator is designed to provide a reliable indication of grounding for tank trucks or cars involved in the transfer of flammable substances. When connected, the device emits a green light to signify a safe ground connection, while a red light indicates the absence of grounding. This functionality is crucial for the safe operation of pumping systems; interlocking circuitry ensures that pumps do not engage unless a ground is established, and it will shut down pumps if grounding is lost during operation.

Constructed with a copper-free aluminum enclosure that meets stringent safety standards, this device operates effectively within a temperature range of -25 °C to +40 °C. It requires a power input of 120 Vac and features control contacts rated at 250 Vac with a continuous current of 10 Amps. The AEPGI ground indicator device is certified for use in hazardous locations, specifically for Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups B, C, D, as well as Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F, G, and Class III environments, complying with NEMA ratings 4X, 7, and 9.
