The EBR Series interlocked receptacles are designed for hazardous environments, featuring a choice between an interlocked circuit breaker and a disconnect switch. These devices ensure safe connect and disconnect operations while providing essential short circuit and thermal overload protection.
They are classified for use in Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups B, C, D, and Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups F, G, making them suitable for various hazardous areas. The receptacles are compliant with NEMA ratings 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 7CD, and 9FG. Available amperage ratings are 30, 60, 100, or 150, accommodating voltage inputs of 120/240/480/600 Vac or 250 Vdc.
With options for 2 or 3 wires and 3 or 4 poles, these receptacles can handle various applications. The horsepower ratings range from 1 to 75, allowing for versatile use across different machinery. The construction materials include copper-free aluminum with an epoxy powder coat for durability, while insulating blocks are made of fiberglass reinforced polyester.
