The Keyence LR-ZB250AP is a high-precision, distance-based laser sensor designed for a wide range of industrial applications. Featuring a rectangular shape and a 2 m cable connection, this sensor offers a detectable distance range of 35 to 250 mm, making it suitable for various detection tasks. The sensor utilizes a red laser (660 nm) and is classified as a Class 1 laser product according to IEC60825-1 and FDA standards.
Equipped with a 3-digit 7-segment display (red), output indicator (yellow), DATUM indicator (orange), and 1 spot indicator (green), the LR-ZB250AP provides clear and immediate feedback on its operational status. The sensor's response time is selectable between 1.5 ms, 10 ms, and 50 ms, allowing for flexibility in various applications.
The LR-ZB250AP is designed to withstand harsh environments with an IP68/IP69K enclosure rating, making it resistant to dust, water, and high-pressure cleaning. It also meets NEMA 4X, 6P, and 13 standards, and is ECOLAB and Diversey certified for use in demanding industrial settings.
Additional features include protection against reverse power connection, output overcurrent, output surge, and reverse output connection. The sensor operates on a power voltage range of 10 to 30 VDC and consumes 450 mW or less. It supports PNP open collector output with a control current of up to 100 mA.
