The AC charging controller, designated as EV-CC-AC1-M3-CC-SER-PCB-XC, operates on a 3-phase AC power grid in accordance with IEC 61851-1, Mode 3. It is specifically engineered for use in charging stations that utilize a permanently mounted Vehicle Connector. The controller integrates all essential charging functions along with extensive configuration settings.
It is designed to function autonomously, requiring a supply voltage between 100 V AC and 240 V AC, with a nominal voltage of 230 V. The device features a maximum current consumption of 40 mA and nominal power consumption below 0.5 W under no-load conditions. The charging controller supports a frequency range of 50 Hz to 60 Hz and operates efficiently within an ambient temperature range of -35 °C to 70 °C, with storage capabilities extending from -40 °C to 85 °C.
Equipped with five digital inputs and a relay output with a maximum output voltage of 30 V and current of 0.5 A, it allows for versatile integration into various systems. The controller employs screw connection technology for secure and reliable electrical connections, accommodating conductor cross-sections from 0.2 mm² to 4 mm² for rigid wires and 0.2 mm² to 2.5 mm² for flexible wires. Additionally, it features an RS-485 2-wire interface for robust communication, supporting a transmission speed adjustable from 9.6 kbps to 19.2 kbps, utilizing the Modbus/RTU protocol.
