The TeSys Deca Series of IEC Contactors is engineered for optimal integration into control systems. These contactors are suitable for a wide range of applications, from small to large motor starters.
The series offers 13 different contactor ratings, catering to inductive motor applications up to 150 full-load amps and resistive loads up to 200 amps. This specific model, rated at 9A, is designed for 3-phase operation.
The contactors can be mounted on DIN rail or directly onto a panel. They are equipped with both Horsepower and Kw motor ratings for international acceptance. The contactor's ratings include 20HP at 200-208VAC, 25HP at 240VAC, 60HP at 480VAC, and 60HP at 600VAC for three-phase applications. For single-phase applications, it is rated at 7.5HP at 115VAC and 15HP at 240VAC.
When paired with a 480VAC up to 35A circuit breaker, the contactor can handle short-circuit currents (SCCR) up to 85kA. When used with a 600VAC 25A Class J or CC fuse, it can handle SCCR up to 100kA.
This contactor comes with a 12 VDC coil and a transient suppressor module. It also features one normally open and one normally closed auxiliary contact as standard. The NC contact is mirror certified. Load and auxiliary connections are made through screw clamp terminals.
The contactor measures 3.15 inches in height, 1.77 inches in width, and 3.39 inches in depth, weighing 0.71 lbs. It is UL, CSA, IEC, CCC, EAC, and Marine certified, and meets RoHS/REACh standards, making it a Green Premium product.
