Product Description
The TF42-10 thermal overload relay is designed to protect motors against overload and phase failure within the main circuit. This device features a trip class of 10 and is equipped with temperature compensation.
Key specifications include a rated operational voltage of 690 V AC for the main circuit and 600 V AC/DC for the auxiliary circuit. The relay operates effectively across a frequency range of 50 to 60 Hz and is capable of withstanding impulse voltages of up to 6 kV.
It houses three poles and includes one normally closed (NC) and one normally open (NO) auxiliary contact. The connection capabilities for the auxiliary circuit allow for various configurations, supporting flexible wires from 0.75 to 2.5 mm². Furthermore, the device operates within an ambient temperature range of -25 to +60 °C and can be stored at temperatures as low as -50 °C.
This relay also incorporates features such as manual or automatic reset options, trip-free mechanism, and a STOP function, enhancing its usability in various applications. The device connects directly to block contactors and is compliant with multiple standards including IEC/EN 60947-1 and UL 60947-1.
