The Class 5000 (H50) Smart Meter offers advanced dual protocol communications, allowing simultaneous interaction with multiple energy monitoring systems, including Building Automation Systems (BAS) and measurement and verification (M&V) reporting tools. This device features a large 4-line LCD display with backlight for enhanced readability.

Designed for commercial and industrial applications, the meter supports 3-phase configurations and includes three split-core current sensors. It operates within a temperature range of -4 °F to 122 °F and can tolerate up to 95% non-condensing humidity. The input voltage configuration supports both 3 and 4 wire setups, with a frequency range of 50 Hz to 60 Hz. The accuracy of the meter is rated at ±1% across 1% to 100% of the rated load.

Regulatory approvals include CE and UL/CUL certifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
