The Class 5000 (H50) Smart Meters are equipped with advanced dual protocol communications, allowing for simultaneous interaction with up to two energy monitoring systems. These capabilities facilitate integration with Building Automation Systems (BAS), energy monitoring and billing programs, as well as Measurement and Verification (M&V) reporting tools. This model features a 4-line LCD display that includes a backlight for visibility.

With an overall width of 6.5 inches (166 mm), a height of 7.8 inches (198 mm), and a depth of 3.4 inches (86 mm), the submeter is compact yet robust, weighing 7.77 lbs. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -4 °F (-20 °C) to 122 °F (50 °C) and can handle humidity levels up to 95% non-condensing. The input voltage configuration supports both 3 and 4 wire setups, and the device is compliant with ANSI C12.20 and CE regulations.

Implemented with split-core current sensors, this meter provides an accuracy of ±1% across 1% to 100% of the rated load.
