Product Description
The 2-way flanged globe valve is engineered for optimal performance in HVAC systems, featuring a flow characteristic that allows for precise control. The valve family, including models V5011 and V5013, is rated for ANSI 150 body class with a rangeability of 50:1. It is compatible with various actuators suitable for different control types.
This valve is constructed with a cast iron body conforming to ASTM A126 Class B, and the trim components, including the valve stem, seat, and plug, are made from stainless steel, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion. The valve's overall dimensions include a face-to-face length of 10.875 inches (276 mm) and a height of 8.438 inches (214.3252 mm).
Designed for a maximum operating pressure of 175 psi (1206 kPa) and a maximum media temperature of 250 °F (120 °C), this valve is suitable for chilled or hot water systems with up to 50% glycol and is capable of handling 100 psi saturated steam. It features an ANSI Class IV leakage rate, which is less than 0.01% of Cv, ensuring reliability in critical applications.
