The 3-way butterfly valve is designed for use in chilled, hot, or cooling tower water systems, as well as two-position steam applications with a pressure rating of up to 50 psi. This valve features a flanged connection type, complying with ASME/ANSI Class 150 standards, and is equipped with four flange bolts for secure installation.

The valve body is constructed from carbon steel, while the valve disc is made of 316 stainless steel, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion. The valve seat is composed of RTFE, contributing to reliable performance. With a rangeability ratio of 100:1, this valve accommodates various flow requirements.

Operating temperatures for the valve range from -22 °F to 400 °F (-30 °C to 204 °C), making it suitable for a wide array of applications. The valve operates in a normally closed position and is controlled by an electronic fail-safe actuator with a two-position and floating control signal. It includes an MBE6LRN2/U actuator, rated for NEMA 2 IP54 protection.

For optimal performance, the valve is not recommended for use with fuels or modulating steam and can control chilled or hot water with up to 60% glycol. The valve's flow characteristic is modified linear and unidirectional, with a maximum body pressure rating of ASME/ANSI Class 150 and zero leakage.
