Product Description
The pneumatic zone valve facilitates the control of water and steam across multiple environments. This model, with a 1/2 inch connection size and 5/8 inch O.D. flare, features a three-way mixing valve body pattern.
Constructed with a brass valve body and seat, and a stainless steel valve stem, it ensures durability and reliable operation. The valve operates in a temperature range from 35 °F (2 °C) to 160 °F (71 °C), making it suitable for varying ambient conditions.
With a maximum diaphragm pressure of 25 psi (172 kPa) and a close-off capability of 50 psid at 13 psi (345 kPa at 90 kPa), this valve is engineered for efficient performance. It supports a minimum operating humidity of 5% RH and a maximum of 95% RH, accommodating diverse environmental conditions. The actuator spring operates within a range of 2 to 13 psi (14 to 90 kPa), providing flexibility in application.
The valve's flow characteristic is equal percentage, optimizing control over the flow of water, while the flow coefficients are specified as 1.4 for Port B and 2.2 for Port A, enhancing its operational efficiency.
