Resilient Seated Butterfly Valve, 2-Way, 2.5" 2-10VDC
Product Description
The resilient seated butterfly valve, with a 2.5" pipe connection, operates in two-way configurations, making it suitable for chilled, hot, or cooling tower water systems. It features a valve body made of epoxy powder coated ductile iron, compliant with ASTM A536, and includes a 416 stainless steel valve stem. The valve seat utilizes EPDM material, ensuring durability and reliability in various applications.
With a maximum operating pressure of 232 psi (1600 kPa) and a maximum media temperature of 250 °F (121 °C), this valve is designed to handle demanding conditions. It has a flow coefficient of 75 CV (65 Kvs) and a rangeability ratio of 10:1, which allows for precise control of fluid flow. The actuator, a spring fail-safe type, operates on a modulating control signal, and is compatible with optional heater kits for enhanced functionality.
Regulatory approvals include CE and cULus certifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards. This valve is not suitable for use with steam or fuels and operates effectively within an ambient temperature range of -22 °F to 122 °F (-30 °C to 50 °C). The valve is supplied with a 5 mm hex crank for manual operation and is designed to accommodate ANSI Class 125/150 flange types.
