Product Description
The 2-Way Standard Butterfly Valve, with a pipe size of 2.5 inches, is designed for use in chilled, hot, or cooling tower water systems. This valve operates in two positions and is part of a range of sizes available from 2 to 24 inches in two-way configurations.
Constructed from durable materials, the valve body is made of epoxy powder coated ductile iron, complying with ASTM A536 standards. The valve disc is fabricated from 304 stainless steel, while the seat is made of EPDM. The valve stem is composed of 416 stainless steel. This construction allows for a maximum operating pressure of 232 psi and a maximum media temperature of 250 °F.
With a leakage rating of 0% and a flow coefficient of 75 CV, this valve ensures reliable performance. The actuator included is a spring fail-safe type, and it operates with a two-position control signal. The valve also features a rangeability ratio of 10:1 and is compatible with ANSI Class 125/150 flange types.
For regulatory compliance, the valve meets CE and cULus standards. It is important to note that this valve is not suitable for use with steam or fuels. The minimum operating ambient temperature is -22 °F, and the maximum is 122 °F.
