Resilient Seated Butterfly Valve, 8" 2-Way 2-10VDC
Product Description
The resilient seated butterfly valve features a 2-way design with an 8-inch pipe connection size, suitable for controlling chilled or hot water systems. It is capable of handling a maximum operating pressure of 232 psi and a maximum media temperature of 250 °F. The valve body is constructed from polyester powder coated ductile iron ASTM A536, while the valve stem is made of 420 stainless steel, ensuring durability in demanding environments.
This valve operates with a fail-in-place actuator rated NEMA 4X IP66/67, featuring modulating control and a start position that is normally closed. The valve's flow characteristic is modified equal percentage, allowing for precise flow control with a flow coefficient of 1202 CV. It is designed to maintain a minimum operating temperature of -22 °F and can withstand ambient temperatures up to 122 °F.
It is important to note that this valve is not suitable for use with steam or fuels, and it is compatible with ANSI Class 125/150 flange types. The valve includes an integrated MBP7U7BH/U actuator and is equipped with a 7 mm hex crank for manual operation. The valve boasts a rangeability ratio of 10:1 and maintains leakage rates of 0%.
