3-Way Resilient Seated Butterfly Valve 8" Floating
Product Description
The 3-Way Resilient Seated Butterfly Valve, designed for 8-inch pipe connections, facilitates effective control in chilled or hot water systems, making it suitable for a variety of applications. With a valve body constructed from polyester powder coated ductile iron (ASTM A536) and a stem made of 420 stainless steel, this valve ensures durability and reliability.
It features a modified linear flow characteristic with a flow coefficient of 1202 CV (1040 Kvs) and a maximum operating pressure of 232 psi (1600 kPa). The valve operates effectively within a temperature range of -22 °F to 250 °F (-30 °C to 121 °C), with a leakage rate of 0%. This valve supports a maximum differential pressure of 200 psi (1380 kPa) and is not suitable for use with steam or fuels.
Additionally, the valve includes an actuator, specifically the MBP6U7SH/U fail-in-place actuator compliant with NEMA 4X IP66/67 standards, which incorporates a heater for enhanced performance. The actuator operates on a two-position and floating control signal, ensuring effective media management. The valve is configured to be normally closed at Port A and is compatible with ANSI Class 125/150 flange types, requiring 8 flange bolts with a size of 0.750 inches and a pitch of 10.
