Product Description

The Pressure Independent Control Valves maintain flow stability despite changes in differential pressure, optimizing the temperature and comfort levels in HVAC systems. This model encompasses the 3 and 4-inch sizes with a flow rate of 222 gpm, designed to improve coil differential temperatures.

Featuring a ductile iron body built to ASTM A536-65T Class 60-45-18 standards and a 316 stainless steel regulator, these valves ensure durability and reliability. The integrated pressure control cartridge effectively combines balancing and control functions, allowing for straightforward servicing thanks to the field-serviceable stem and pressure regulating cartridge.

With a maximum operating pressure of 580 psi and a leakage rating of ANSI Class II (less than 0.2% of Cv), the valves are engineered for precision. The valve diaphragm is constructed from EPDM, which ensures compatibility with chilled or hot water media, accommodating up to 50% glycol mixtures. The flow characteristic is defined as equal percentage, providing consistent performance.

These valves are equipped with a modulating fail-safe actuator and are compatible with ANSI Class 150/300 flanges. The overall dimensions include a length of 16.7 inches and a height of 12.6 inches, making them suitable for various installation scenarios.
