Product Description
The JLS250 - JLS Series fuses are engineered to deliver fast-acting protection against overloads and short circuits, specifically for non-inductive loads. With an amperage rating of 250 A and a voltage rating of 600 VAC, these fuses can handle significant electrical demands. The interrupting rating of 200,000 A at 600 VAC ensures reliable safety in high fault current situations.
It is important to note that when applied to motors or inductive loads, the ampere rating must be increased to avoid nuisance trips caused by inrush currents. In such scenarios, these fuses may only offer short circuit protection. For applications requiring time-delay characteristics, the use of the POWR-PRO™ JTD series time-delay fuses is recommended.
