Product Description
The 690/700V Protistor® fuse-link is engineered to deliver flexibility in equipment design while providing optimal protection for modern power conversion devices. These NH style fuse-links adhere to DIN 43620/00 standards, ensuring compatibility with NH modular system fuse holders and fuse switch disconnectors for direct installation.
Specifically crafted for the protection of semiconductors such as diodes, thyristors, GTOs, and IGBT devices, the Protistor® fuse-links feature pure silver, die-cut elements embedded in solidified sand. This construction aids in managing arcing characteristics, resulting in a reduced I²t and a high interrupting rating of 80 kA. All contact surfaces are silver plated, and the hardware is designed to be non-magnetic. Furthermore, each fuse-link can be fitted with a low voltage trip-indicator, allowing for the operation of a field mountable microswitch.
