The UL98 Non-Fused Disconnect Switch is engineered to comply with the UL98 standard, facilitating safe and reliable operation for power circuits under load. With a maximum operating temperature of 40 °C and a storage temperature up to 55 °C, this switch is suitable for various demanding applications, including service entrance usage.

This heavy-duty switch features a three-pole design and is constructed with silver-plated copper connection terminals. The rated insulation voltage is 750 V, and it supports a wiring range of #14-4. The switch is capable of handling short circuit current ratings of up to 200 kA with fuses and has a short circuit rating of class J at 50 kA for 150A.

Installation is straightforward, with direct screw mounting, and it has a torque rating of 55 lb-in. The switch operates effectively across a range of voltages, with maximum horsepower ratings of 20HP at 240V, 40HP at 480V, and 40HP at 600V for 3-phase systems, as well as 3HP at 120V and 7.5HP at 240V for 1-phase systems. This adaptability ensures its efficacy in various electrical configurations.
