Product Description
The 690/700V Protistor® fuse-links are engineered to offer exceptional flexibility in equipment design while providing optimal protection for modern power conversion devices. Complying with DIN 43620/00, these NH style fuse-links integrate seamlessly into NH modular system fuse-holders and fuse switch disconnectors for direct installation.
Designed specifically for semiconductor protection, the Protistor® series safeguards diodes, thyristors, GTOs, and IGBT devices. The fuses incorporate pure silver die-cut elements, encapsulated in solidified sand, which effectively manage arcing characteristics, resulting in a lower I²t and a high interrupting rating level. All contact surfaces are silver plated, and the hardware is constructed from non-magnetic materials.
Each fuse-link may be fitted with a low voltage trip-indicator capable of operating a field mountable microswitch, enhancing functionality. The fuse-link, with a rated voltage of 690 V (IEC) / 700 V (UL) and an ampere rating of 630 A, exhibits a maximum breaking capacity of 170 kA. Additionally, it features a power dissipation of 175 W at the rated current value.
