Size 72 aR 550 A 1250VAC Fuse-Link with DIN 110 Blades
Product Description
The size 72 aR fuse-link is engineered to provide superior protection for semiconductors, including diodes, thyristors, and IGBT devices. With a rated voltage of 1250 VAC (IEC) and 1300 VAC (UL), it supports a maximum breaking capacity of 126 kA, ensuring high performance in demanding applications.
This fuse is constructed with die-cut elements embedded in solidified sand, effectively controlling arcing characteristics and achieving a lower I²t rating of 550 kA²s. The melting I²t value is specified at 68 kA²s, allowing for precise performance monitoring. Additionally, the power dissipation at rated current is 120 W, which contributes to its reliability under load.
Each fuse-link features silver-plated contact surfaces and non-magnetic hardware, enhancing durability and conductivity. The unit can be equipped with a low voltage trip-indicator that operates a field mountable microswitch, facilitating quick status checks. This component is compatible with various worldwide acceptable mounting styles, providing flexibility in equipment design.
