Product Description
The SB aR Fuse-Link operates at a rated voltage of 690V AC per IEC standards and supports up to 1000A, making it suitable for a variety of power conversion equipment. Engineered for quick response, these ultra-fast acting fuse-links are available in multiple sizes and mounting styles to accommodate different equipment configurations.
With a maximum breaking capacity of 200 kA, the fuse-link provides superior protection for semiconductor devices including diodes, thyristors, and IGBT devices. The assembly incorporates die-cut elements within solidified sand, which effectively controls arcing and results in a lower I²t value of 990 kA²s while the melting I²t stands at 170 kA²s. This design enhances the fuse's reliability and performance.
Constructed with silver-plated contact surfaces and non-magnetic hardware, the fuse-link ensures optimal conductivity and safety. Additionally, a low voltage trip-indicator can be integrated, allowing the operation of a field-mountable microswitch for enhanced operational monitoring.
