Product Description
The Omron GX-MD1621 EtherCAT Digital I/O Unit is designed for high-speed communication in various industrial applications. This unit features 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs, all PNP type, and operates with a 1-wire connection method. It is highly expandable, allowing for the attachment of additional I/O points through expansion units.
With its EtherCAT communication protocol, the GX-MD1621 ensures reliable and efficient data transfer, supporting a baud rate of 100 Mbps and a daisy chain topology. The unit is equipped with RJ45 shielded connectors for both input and output, and it supports a maximum communication distance of 100 meters between nodes.
The GX-MD1621 is built to withstand industrial environments, conforming to IEC 61000-4-4 noise resistance standards and offering IP20 protection. It operates within a wide temperature range of -10 to 55°C and is resistant to vibration and impact, ensuring durability and longevity.
