Product Description

The PSR-M-TBUS2-SC serves as a safe extension module intended for local bus applications, equipped with two function channels and utilizing the TBUS interface. This module supports a high safety level of up to SIL 3 and meets the requirements of Cat. 4/PL e, ensuring reliable performance in industrial settings.

Constructed with a plug-in screw terminal block, the module includes a TBUS connector as a standard feature. Its design incorporates a range of technical specifications, including a rated control circuit supply voltage of 24 V DC with a tolerance of -20% to +20%. The nominal operating mode operates at a 100% factor with typical power consumption of 0.8 W, alongside a maximum inrush current of 8 A over a short duration.

The module is compliant with protection class III and features a degree of pollution rating of 2, making it suitable for challenging environments. It is designed for DIN rail mounting, allowing for both vertical and horizontal positioning. The housing is constructed from non-reinforced Polyamide PA and is colored yellow (RAL 1018), with a degree of protection rated at IP20, while the installation location requires a minimum of IP54.

Operating temperature ranges from -10 °C to 55 °C, with storage and transport capabilities extending from -20 °C to 85 °C. The module is rated for a maximum altitude of 2000 m above sea level and can withstand humidity levels of up to 95% in both operating and storage conditions. Designation Code: A1/A2.
