Product Description

This device connector features a 5-position M12 socket, coded for sensor and actuator applications. It is designed for rear mounting utilizing a Pg9 thread. The connector comes with a 0.5 m TPE litz wire consisting of five conductors, each with a cross-section of 0.34 mm². The construction includes a housing made of V4A stainless steel and an insulating body composed of PA 6.6.

With a nominal voltage rating of 60 V AC and a nominal current capacity of 4 A, this connector is suitable for universal signal applications. It meets the requirements of overvoltage category III and pollution degree 3, making it appropriate for various industrial environments.

The connector has been engineered to withstand harsh conditions, with an operational temperature range of -40 °C to 85 °C for fixed installations. It features a degree of protection rated at IP65/IP67/IP69/IP69K, ensuring reliability in challenging settings. The contact connection type is a socket with crimp connections, and the connector has a contact resistance of ≤ 3 mΩ and an insulation resistance of ≥ 100 MΩ.

For installation, it requires a tightening torque of 2 Nm to 3 Nm and is supplied with a locking nut. Note that the connectors should not be connected or disconnected under load to avoid potential damage. Proper sealing with a protective cap is advised if there is a risk of contamination when unlocked. Compliance with IEC 61076-2-101 standards ensures consistent quality and performance.
