Product Description
The crimp contact features a diameter of 1.6 mm and is constructed from copper alloy, with its surface gold-plated for enhanced conductivity. This component is designed to accommodate a connection cross-section ranging from 1 mm² to 1 mm², corresponding to AWG 18. It is suitable for use with various contact carriers, including HC-M-12, HC-M-17, HC-M-03/04, HC-M-EMV, HC-D, HC-DD, HC-Q, and VC-D.
When utilizing this crimp contact, it is essential to follow the assembly guidelines for crimp connection technology, which specifies its use with flexible wires only. The crimp connection is optimized for fine-stranded cables in adherence to VDE 0295 Class 5. The recommended stripping length is 8 mm.
This contact is capable of withstanding a minimum of 500 insertion/withdrawal cycles and operates effectively within an ambient temperature range of -40 °C to 125 °C. The product is manufactured in Germany and has a weight of 0.65 g per piece.
