The IBS IP CDIO/R 24-12/4/8-SF is a digital input/output module tailored for robotic use. It offers a total of 12 inputs with a 4-wire connection technology operating at 24 V DC. The input voltage ranges are defined, with '0' signals between -30 V and 5 V, and '1' signals from 13 V to 30 V. The module includes 4 outputs, also at 24 V DC, capable of handling current loads of 0.5 A and 2 A, utilizing a 3-wire connection technology. This design facilitates the connection of additional signals at the rear of the module.

With an IP65 protection rating, this module is equipped to withstand harsh environmental conditions. It features electrical isolation tests for supply voltages and ensures compliance with standards such as CUL. The outputs are safeguarded by short-circuit and polarity reversal protection, enhancing operational reliability.

Weighing 651 g without packaging, the module is suitable for panel mounting and integrates a M17 circular connector for installation. It provides a transmission speed of up to 500 Mbps, with error messages relayed via the bus for issues like short-circuits or overloads on the initiator power supply.
