Product Description

The FL SWITCH SFN 6TX/2FX-NF is an unmanaged Ethernet switch designed to facilitate reliable communication in industrial environments. It offers six twisted pair RJ45 ports and two fiber optic ports, enabling full duplex data transmission at 100 Mbps. The device automatically detects data transmission speeds of 10 or 100 Mbps, and includes an autocrossing function for simplified connectivity.

Constructed from aluminum, this switch is suitable for DIN rail mounting and is rated for a temperature range of 0 °C to 60 °C during operation. It features a compact design with dimensions of 50 mm in width, 120 mm in height, and 70 mm in depth, while weighing 365 g without packaging. The protection class is rated at III according to IEC 61140 standards, ensuring safe operations in various environments.

Power is supplied via a COMBICON connection with a supply voltage range of 18.5 V DC to 30.2 V DC. The device consumes a typical current of 230 mA at 24 V DC with a maximum power dissipation of 5.54 W. It also features status and diagnostic indicators, including LEDs for link and activity per port, facilitating easy monitoring and troubleshooting.

This model is compliant with IEEE 802.3 standards and operates using a store-and-forward switching mode with no flow control. It supports transmission lengths of up to 2000 meters using multi-mode fiberglass at a wavelength of 1300 nm, making it suitable for extensive network setups.
