Product Description

The head-mounted transducer (Designation Code: FA MCR-EX-HT-TS-I-OLP-PT) operates as a loop-powered device, effectively transmitting signals from up to two sensors, including RTD and TC types, as well as resistance and voltage sensors. It supports a linear resistance measuring range of 10 Ω to 2000 Ω, accommodating various sensor configurations such as 2, 3, and 4-wire RTDs and multiple TC types, including J, K, and T.

With a maximum output current of 23 mA, the device offers a current output signal ranging from 4 mA to 20 mA or vice versa, ensuring compatibility with HART communication protocols. Designed for diverse environmental conditions, it operates within an ambient temperature range of -40 °C to 85 °C, and is rated for storage and transport between -50 °C and 100 °C. The transducer is also compliant with several safety standards, including CE and ATEX classifications for explosive environments.

Installation is facilitated through a push-in connection method, supporting conductor cross-sections from 0.2 mm² to 1.5 mm². The device is suitable for use at altitudes up to 4000 meters above sea level and is protected against humidity and condensation, with an operational humidity range of 5% to 95%. The degree of protection is rated at IP33, with enhanced protection when installed in appropriate housings.
