Product Description
The Schneider Electric Thermal Unit, Class 20 is a one-piece construction that responds to overload current conditions according to trip curves. It protects motors and branch-circuit conductors from excessive heating due to prolonged motor over-currents. The unit's small heater winding allows it to detect overload conditions, causing a special solder to melt and open the control circuit contacts, thereby protecting the motor.
This thermal unit is designed for Class 20 trip curves, meaning it will trip in 20 seconds or less on overload conditions. It is suitable for Type S and Type B melting alloys, providing a versatile solution for various applications.
