The application license serves as a crucial component of the EcoStruxure Automation Expert runtime licensing framework. It is a necessary runtime license to deploy and operate an Automation Expert application. This license is tailored for use with Modicon M580 dPAC (extended backplane), iPC Harmony HMIP6 Standard, and Intel Core i3, i5, or equivalent CPUs for third-party iPCs. The high-performance runtime, compliant with IEC 61499, significantly enhances automation scalability, flexibility, agility, and engineering efficiency.

This perpetual runtime license allows users to leverage next-generation integrated architectures and supports Industry 4.0 solutions. The software is available in a digital format, with a permanent license type categorized under application software. The latest version, V24.1, facilitates both engineering and operational functions, ensuring compatibility with Modicon M580 dPAC modules.

Communication protocols supported include Modbus TCP server, Modbus TCP client, Ethernet/IP scanner, OPC UA server, and AS-Interface. The license is suitable for a single user and requires a system with at least 2 GB of RAM, 1.8 GB of free hard disk space, and a processor clock frequency of 1 GHz or higher.
