Product Description
The Ethernet Communication Module for Modicon M262 is a smart solution designed to expand the connectivity options of these motion controllers. It offers 4 additional Ethernet ports, enabling seamless integration with cloud applications and analytics. This module supports various protocols including MQTT/HTTP, JSON, and TLS encryption, allowing connection to Schneider Electric or third-party cloud platforms.
The module embeds a range of features such as self-speed adaptation (10, 100, 1000mbps), half or full duplex service, and autocrossing (MDIO). It also supports up to three Ethernet communication modules on a single motion controller. The power supply is embedded within the communication bus.
This compact module measures 60mm in width, 88mm in depth, and 100mm in height, weighing just 0.403kg. It is designed for machinery requiring integrated IIoT connectivity or encrypted communication. It is certified under various standards including CE, cULus HazLoc, RCM, EAC, Achilles L2, EU RO Mutual, UL 61010-1/-2-201, CSAC22.2 No. 61010-1/-2-201, ANSI/ISA 12-12-01, EN 61131-2.
This communication module is compatible with Modicon M262 logic/motion controllers and can be configured using EcoStruxure Machine Expert software. It installs on a 35mm DIN rail with clip-on locks, making it easy to integrate into existing systems.
