Lifecycle Status:

The XCSLF Key Operated Safety Switch is designed for use on guard doors, incorporating a locking mechanism activated by a solenoid. It features a slim, red-coated Zamak body and an adjustable turret head, facilitating flexible installation through its three 1/2" NPT cable gland entries. The device includes two normally closed and one normally open main contacts that operate with a slow-break, break-before-make mechanism, with contact states indicated upon key insertion.

Additionally, the switch provides two auxiliary contacts, again with normally closed and normally open configurations, which are actuated by the solenoid. When the solenoid is not powered, the contact states are revealed. This switch exhibits a B10D reliability data rating of 5,500,000, underscoring its longevity and reliability. With an IP66 degree of protection, it is suitable for demanding applications in harsh environments.

The XCSLF meets several standards, including EN/ISO 14119, EN/IEC 60204-1, and UL 508, and is capable of conforming to Category 4, performance level PL e, and SIL 3 when appropriately connected to a safety control unit. The operational voltage is rated at 24 V with a tolerance of -15 to +10%. The switch is equipped with local signaling features, including two LEDs indicating actuator states. Its mechanical durability is rated for 30,000 cycles, ensuring a long service life.
