The XCSRC RFID Contactless Safety Switch serves as an essential safety interlock mechanism, primarily utilized for monitoring guard doors and protective casings while detecting positions on machines characterized by low inertia. This standalone model incorporates a unique pairing feature that facilitates direct connections to contactors, eliminating the need for a safety control unit. It is equipped with embedded automatic start/restart capabilities and EDM monitoring.

Compliant with EN/ISO 14119, this safety switch exhibits a high level of coding that enhances security. Local status indication is provided through integral LEDs, which illuminate green, orange, or red based on device status. The device's reliability is underscored by a PFHD data point of 5 x 10⁻¹⁰ and a robust construction featuring a plastic body with an M12 connector.

Designed for demanding environments, the switch boasts an IP65/IP66/IP67/IP69K protection rating, ensuring its durability in harsh conditions and hygiene-sensitive areas. It adheres to multiple standards, including EN/IEC 60947-5-2 and EN/IEC 60947-5-3, marking it as suitable for various industrial applications.
